Attending the monthly meeting

The easiest way to get started is to visit one of our monthly meetings.  Visitors are always welcome to hang out, check us out, and see if we don't scare you away. Seriously, it's pretty easy to get the lay of the land, so come by anytime. On your first visit, just enter the restaurant and make your way toward the back of the building. Beef O Brady's hosts an event room in the back of the restaurant with some double doors facing the restaurant seating. Come on in, grab a chair anywhere you like and take in the sights.  If you like what you see, come back. If you come back a few times, chances are good someone will notice and might say "hey there, want to become official". After that, you're hooked and great things will happen to you.

Bringing stuff

If you decide to hang around the NFBL for a while, and find yourself in the sharing mood, there's a basic protocol for bringing stuff to the meeting. Our hosts are really nice to us, so we try to be as unobtrusive to their operation as possible. If you're bringing anything to the meeting other than yourself and a smile, it's best to use the event room entrance door off of the parking lot. It's a little disruptive to the restaurant staff and patrons if we're hauling this- and- that through the seating areas, so please play along.
